About the drawings: These are drawings and sketches that I've done with ink and gouache. Most of them are based on found materials, photographs, old baseball cards, records, and sports digest clippings; some are from my imagination. About the photos: All of the photos on this site have been found at flea markets in and around Oakland, California. I’ve never quite understood how these large collections of old snapshots and portraits end up there, but whenever I spot them, I quickly buy them. If you happen to see a photo on this site and recognize the person(s) in it, please send me an email, and I’ll mail you the original.

About the graphics: Like the photos that are archived here, all of the graphics and illustrations on this site have been found at flea markets in Oakland, California. Some have been found on road trips through California at small thrift stores. I tend to favor graphics from the ‘50s and ‘60s.
